Tempe Area Guide

Tempe, Arizona may be best known as the home to Arizona State University. But more than just a college town, Tempe is home to more than 170,000 people, and has been working hard to develop its character as a unique metropolitan area, friendly to businesses, families and students.

Tempe is bordered by Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and Chandler, and is central to these 4 metropolitan areas, as well as being close to the area’s major airport. Its central location has increased the value of Tempe real estate, and attracted businesses of all sorts, including industrial and office. Over 200 high tech companies call Tempe home, as well in financial and business services.

Tempe’s character is based on its revitalized and charming downtown area. A man made lake offers recreation and beauty, with condos and business offices overlooking the area, while the Mill Street area enjoys a unique mix of shopping and dining, as well as the arts primarily at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium. And of course being close to a University, Tempe has its share of bars and nightlife.

Tempe Real Estate runs the gamut from small condominiums in the mid $100’s to million dollar homes on large 1+ acre lots or luxury condominiums overlooking Tempe Town Lake.
