Luxury Homes and Estates

Secluded desert mansion, golf course home, or city penthouse – all are choices for the Phoenix/Scottsdale luxury home buyers. With the recent price action in the Phoenix real estate market, the luxury home market now starts a bit higher. If you use the standard definition of a luxury home as the top 5% of homes in a particular market, the Phoenix/Scottsdale luxury homes start at about $1.2 million.

What can you get for $1.25 million in the Phoenix real estate market? As in any market, value is based on location, with premiums added for view and number of luxury amenities. Here are some of the luxury home neighborhoods in the Phoenix valley:

My Desert Castle

Nestled in the North Scottsdale foothills, along the northern slope of Pinnacle Peak, is the exclusive gated, golf community of Estancia. This 600 plus acre community has only 233 lots set aside for homes. Currently under construction, is a beautiful Tuscan style 8600 plus square foot with gorgeous views. Through special arrangement with the builder, we are providing weekly updates and progress reports throughout the construction phase. Visit MyDesertCastle.com for this and other high end, custom luxury homes under development.

Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley is adjacent to Scottsdale, an easy commute to downtown, the Camelback corridor, and Scottsdale. Homes are valued based on their location in this high-worth neighborhood, and every lot is one acre and over. Every home in Paradise Valley is over a million, and some older homes have become “tear downs” because of the high property values.

North Scottsdale

Desert living is at its finest in North Scottsdale, with luxury golf communities like Estancia, Troon, Desert Highlands and DC ranch. If your home is in one of these communities, you'll pay a premium for the gated, luxury golf community atmosphere. North Scottsdale also has a myriad of areas with elegant homes.

Cave Creek/Carefree

With a little more driving north, you'll run up against the towns of Cave Creek and Carefree. A little more rural, these properties are still elegant, mostly custom homes. Many of these homes are on over an acre, with some on septic, but most having city water.

Camelback/Biltmore

The place for luxury high rise living is the Biltmore/Camelback area. With high end shopping, fine dining and business office towers all in one place, the Camelback area is the best place for all-inclusive living. The Biltmore area also has a collection of high-end homes, just a short drive away from the Camelback area.

And Other Places

Luxury homes can pop up in just about every community, including luxury subdivisions in Anthem, Chandler, Litchfield Park, Glendale, Fountain Hills and Peoria.
