City Life in North Scottsdale

North Scottsdale is also home to upscale shopping and dining. Head down Scottsdale Road to find the “furniture district”, with mid-price and upscale furniture stores and designer/boutique stores as well. Kierland Commons (Scottsdale Road and Greenway) is a relatively new outdoor mall, with shops like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic and Barnes and Noble, and upscale restaurants to enjoy after your shopping.

Troon is situated next to a 185-acre mountain preserve. The four-acre Troon North community park features tennis, basketball, barbecues, ramadas, a tot lot and a play area for other outdoor activities. Homes range in price from the $600’s to over $1.5 million.

Desert Highlands

Desert Highlands consists of 575 homesites spread out amongst 850 acres of lush Sonoran desert. Currently, over 450 custom homes have been completed in Desert Highlands. Homes range in price from the mid $900’s to over $3 million. Homesites range from the high $300’s to over $800,000.

Desert Highlands has a golf course, tennis course, fine and casual dining, a fitness center, and security with a residential monitoring center.

Desert Mountain

If you’re looking for a luxury gated golf course community, check out Desert Mountain in the foothills of North Scottsdale near Cave Creek and Carefree. Not one, but six private courses are in Desert Mountain. Three of the courses were chosen by Golf Digest as part of the 100 Greatest Golf Courses. Also included in the facilities are tennis, fitness facilities and six restaurants.

Desert Mountain covers about 8,000 acres with a total of 2,665 homes. Homes range from about a million to over six.

Estancia is a gated residential community of Luxury Homes in Scottsdale, Arizona, encompassing over 640 acres of beautiful Sonoran Desert.

DC Ranch

DC Ranch is an 8,300 acre community in North Scottsdale. Amenities at the Country Club include an 18 hole golf course, swimming, tennis, fitness, dining and social events.

DC Ranch is zoned for 8,000 residential units, schools, houses of worship, office and retail space and several public parks. More than 3,500 acres of the Ranch have been set aside to remain undeveloped and in its natural state.

Homes range from $290’s to $1.5 million.
